Our Private Credit business focuses on direct lending to small and medium sized corporate enterprises engaged in the midstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry in Ghana.

In 2019, due to the increased restraints placed upon SMEs in the energy sector by local financial institutions, Stratcon Capital identified private credit as one of the emerging asset classes in Ghana.

As a result, in 2020, Stratcon Capital established a local credit team and subsequently achieved both capital protection and superior yields through the provision of credit solutions on the deployed capital.
